The goal to reduce hunger will not be achieved if women are not given full ownership and control over land

Women activists have protested the alarming cases of violence against women and girls being reported in the media both in the privacy of homes and public arena. 

The percentage of urban poor is growing as they come to Kampala to seek for better social services, quality education, better housing and health services among others.
