ActionAid is a global movement of people working together to further human rights and defeat poverty for all.

Damian Rafferty

I'm responsible for helping ActionAid offices around the world to get more out of digital tools.

I'm an old web hand, having started back in 1995 by launching an online music magazine. Since then I've had stretches at the BBC, Amnesty International, Royal Opera House and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew among others.

Apart from webby stuff, I recently shot a documentary in Mali and spent three months criss-crossing West Africa by motorbike.

I love music from around the world, especially African music so I'm hoping to catch a few concerts in far flung places with my ActionAid colleagues when I am not working.
