Activist Training

Friday, October 13, 2017 - 09:01

About our network

Want to get more involved in our campaigns, learn new skills, and meet like-minded people in your community? Join our ActionAid Activist Network - a grassroots network of volunteers taking action in solidarity with the women we work with around the world.

We know that so many of the injustices women are fighting around the world start right here in Australia - and by standing in solidarity, we can support the women we work with to win campaigns that protect women’s rights and build sustainable alternatives to business-as-usual.

Our training

Throughout the year we run regular trainings and events online and in communities they’ll cover ActionAid’s unique human rights based approach, community organising, campaign theory, event planning and how to engage with decision makers in your community.

In the meantime you can check out our recorded webinar on our campaign for a public register of beneficial ownership, right here.
