Our three-year project intervention “Transforming lives by increasing food and incomes for rural communities in Kampot and Koh Kong” has changed the livelihood of people living there a lot. Beyond fishing, fisherfloks living there are changing and generating alternative income while they gained knowledge and techniques how to cultivate vegetables and rice based on the Climate Resilience Sustainable Agriculture (CRSA). They know how to manage natural resources in the sustainable manner and how to protect and expand their natural resource within their community through joint community patrolling and protection from fishing communities. We thank to Benoy Foundation for supporting our work in rural Cambodia to help families there improve their ability to provide food and income.
