Mayra Moro Coco

I represent ActionAid in meetings within the EU institutions in Brussels, finding out what is going on and influencing policy to ensure that it is focused on fighting global poverty and injustice. 

It’s a great way to work with European decision-makers and other development organisations to make sure that European policies do what they are supposed to do, without putting the world’s most vulnerable people at risk!

When I'm not working you'll find me working on my PhD, which is on humanitarian interventions and women’s rights, and walking my dogs.
