You will improve standards of financial control, ensuring issues are identified and addressed as well as support the development of new/updated international financial policies and procedures. With your track record you will monitor any instances of fraud, ensure that appropriate action is taken and report details to stakeholders too in addition liaising with the external auditors on statutory audit work and to promote improvements to risk management processes across the organisations.
To achieve this, you will have a recognised accountancy or internal audit qualification. Confident at working in a global and multicultural environment you will excel at managing and motivating professional audit staff. In addition, you can demonstrate knowledge of risk-based audit techniques, risk management and internal control issues as well as a good understanding of budgeting and financial management.
