You will be responsible for:
- Supporting coordination of agreed work streams prioritised by the Resilient Livelihoods and Climate Justice International Platform (food sovereignty and agroecology; climate justice and natural resource rights);
Line managing Project Managers of Multi-Country Projects funded by major donors / institutions.
Supporting Resource Mobilisation and donor accountability;
Supporting programme development, critical learning and evaluation from resilient livelihoods and climate justice programmes; and
Reviewing and documenting progress of programme work on resilient livelihoods and climate justice to ensure sustained alignment.
You must have significant practical experience in designing and practically implementing resilient livelihoods and climate justice programmes, of which substantial time should be international experience, strong understanding of rights-based approaches to resilient livelihoods and climate justice and ways of linking programme practice to policy and campaigning work, experience in multi-country & international programme design, project cycle, development & implementation and experience of project management and accountability to donors for significant cross-country programmes.
An advanced University degree or equivalent, with substantial time of which should be in directly designing and implementing resilient livelihoods and climate justice programmes on the ground is required. You must also have substantial experience with public speaking and business writing for at least 2 years.
