“The project has made me self sufficient. I am now able to support both my extended and nuclear family with ease as well as save the surplus for my daughter’s education,” said Jackson Garama.

Glad Toto Primary School was founded in 2002 after a local women group involved in home based care for People Living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) in the area saw the devastating results the disease had on orphans.

"I am optimistic that this tree project is the start of an initiative that will change our lives and that of the future generations; we have had no rain because we have no trees".
