Collins Odhiambo

I am a 23 year old activist working on citizen journalism. My work revolves around a community newspaper called 'Kibera Journal' and an online news channel called 'Kibera News Network'.When am not in the computers writing stories and running around the slums with a camera, am always found organizing demonstrations in the slums or facilitating in youth forums where I motivate young people to be the agents of social change. Something i enjoy quite a lot

Am also one of the core members of Activista Kenya who firmly believes in the power of youths. Currently, am also part of a wider movement of youths from all slums in Nairobi called' L.I.S.T.' (Living in shanty towns).

Besides all these, I am currently fundraising for a feeding program called 'feed a pupil' for informal schools in kibera where many children are dropping out of school everyday due to hunger.This is not helping the already high rate of illeteracy.
