We work with people in rich and poor communities in Kenya to end poverty and injustice.

We want a world without poverty, where nobody has to go to bed hungry.That's what we campaign for, and that's what inspires us every day.

We have over 40 years of knowledge and experience working with poor communities, and yet every day we're learning the solutions from the people we work with.

ActionAid International Kenya commits to work with women,children and Youth to claim and realize their constitutional rights.We will realize this change through three main pillars; empowerment,solidarity and campaigning

ActionAid Kenya's work revolves around its Strategy Paper; Making Our Rights Count 2012-2017.AAIK will be giuded by four strategic objectives;

Securing basic rights for women and girls

We will work with women and girls from communities living in poverty and exclusion to enable them gain power and secure their rights.
Access and control of land and natural resources

We will work with communities living in poverty and exclusion to enhance their access and control of over land and other natural and productive resources for improved livelihood security.
Accountability at all levels

We will empower people living in poverty and exclusion to hold State and its institutions accountable for fulfillment of their basic.
Disaster management and resilience building

We will work with communities living in poverty and exclusion to build their resilience in face of natural and manmade shocks and crisis.
