Key Actions:
• Strengthening 20 women farmer groups and movements on land rights
• Build capacity of women and youth to advocate for enactment and implementation of community and investments laws that promote communities especially women’s interest on land
• Support community and youth -led actions to secure their right to land and link local, national to international level efforts through the land with communities and women campaign targeting at least 60,000 people
• Strengthen capacity of the Counties on pro-women land governance & reforms
• Strengthen capacity of communities to negotiate for better terms with private sector investment on land
• Promote women living in poverty and exclusion’s leadership in land boards
• Link communities and other human rights defenders and communities to pro-bono lawyer
• Promote livelihood diversification and alternatives for 8,000 women living in poverty and exclusion through climate resilient sustainable agriculture (CRSA)
• Support value addition and market access for commodities produced by women
• Strengthening 12 farmer cooperatives and women farmer associations and effectively linking them at local, county and national level
• Build skills and capacity of 240 women and youth groups to track government agricultural budget and expenditure and advocate for increased agricultural financing and climate adaptation funds
• Promote economic literacy and greater control of income by women living in poverty and exclusion
• Support women and youth living in poverty and exclusion to develop participatory preparedness to disasters and conflict plans and implementation
• Build capacity of 300 women living in poverty and exclusion to lead and respond to disasters and conflict
• Support women and youth institutions to advocate for adoption of Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience (DRRR) plans by Counties
• Support women and youth-led actions for accountability in emergencies
• Support community-led actions for conflict mitigation and resolution and linkages at local, national and international level
• Establish an effective national emergency team composed of community, partners, and staff to support response to disasters
• Build capacity of State and non-state actors in Conflict Sensitive Programmes
• Build national and local partners capacity for better coordination and emergency response
