ActionAid works with communities and organisations to achieve change locally, nationally and globally in order to realise fundamental human rights for poor and excuded people.

 

Campaigning alongside the poor and all those who refuse to accept injustice, we are actively seeking change in over 30 countries.

In Brazil, for example, we are campaigning for qaulity education for all children. In India we are campaigning against the violation of land rights by corporations.

 

Internationally, we campaign to hold international organisations to account. For example we are putting pressure on the European Union to stop undermining the livelihoods of African farmers as a result of unfair trade deals.

 

We are also calling on rich countries to meet their committment to fight AIDS worldwide and back their promises with additional funds.
