Coming from Brazil his background is in agronomy, his expertise is in sustainable agriculture, and he has more than 20 years of experience working with smallholder farmers.

Celso has visited many regions in Latin America, Africa and Europe where he has witnessed the negative impact of climate change on smallholder farmers and he believes that sustainable agriculture is the best tool to combat climate change.
