Rebuilding Lives: Pakistan's policy challenges in responding to the 2010 floods

One year on from the start of devastating floods in Pakistan, this brief outlines the policy challenges which continue to hamper rehabilitation efforts.  Key issues covered include the prioritisation of women in the rehabilitation process; investment in agriculture and smallholder farmers; and the need to revise the National Disaster Management Act (NDM Act 2010).
