The Time is NOW - lessons from farmers adapting to climate change

Downloads

Agriculture in the developing world is particularly vulnerable to climate change.  The developing world will see drastic decreases in food production as a result of climate change, and ActionAid’s field work has revealed that decreases in food production are already occurring.  This report examines the impacts of climate change on food production and the right to food in five countries - Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Malawi and Vietnam. It documents the community adaptation strategies that are already being used to address food insecurity and draws on the country case studies to recommend interventions to deal with the impacts of climate change on food production.
