It is two years on from the devastating floods in Pakistan in 2010, which killed nearly 2,000 people and affected up to 20 million. The date also roughly coincides with the floods of 2011, which also affected large parts of the country. And once again in 2012 Pakistan has been hit by massive flooding. Some 4.8m people have been affected this year, 1.1m acres of crops have been wiped away and 402,397 houses have been destroyed.
