ActionAid International Tanzania is a part of ActionAid global family

ActionAid International Tanzania is a part of ActionAid global family an anti-poverty development agency working with the poorest communities in over 40 Countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to end poverty and injustice together.

The organisation has grown to now work with poor and excluded people to strengthen their capacity to meet their immediate needs and influence local, national and international decisions and processes in their favour.

The organisation employs a unique rights based approach in its effort to fight the injustices that cause inequality and poverty.
 
It works in education, HIV and AIDS, Agriculture and food security, education and women’s rights areas to enable people gain power to secure their rights. 
 
Through this approach, people are supported to drive their own agenda and influence change to transform their lives.
 
ActionAid only acts as acts as a catalyst, facilitator and capacity builder while working with other agencies including the government, research institutions and development agencies.
