On Green Day, ActionAid Thailand and ten other organizations rallied alongside Bangkok’s youth on the environment, engaging a new generation of change makers.

Action for Change ClubDuring the May 31st, event, members of ActionAid’s Action-4-Change project advocated on behalf of those who are growing poorer and hungrier as a result of climate change. In so doing, youth discussed startling global hunger statistics, and invited young spectators to help them by writing personal messages against hunger empty plates.

The Green Day activities were held as part of ActionAid’s international HungerFREE campaign, which is taking place in over 40 countries to fight for change alongside and on behalf of the 854 million people who remain hungry worldwide.
