ActionAid Uganda (AAU) annually organizes Anti-corruption caravan (ACC) in commemoration of the International Anti-Corruption Day. The Anti-Corruption Caravan provides a platform for citizens to engage duty bearers and provide evidence of transparency and accountability violations to the state and effects of corruption on public services in their different constituencies.
From 26th November to 3rd December 2018, ActionAid Uganda in partnership with Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) under the, Citizens Actions for Greater Accountability and Improved Public Service Delivery (CAIPs) project shall hold the 5th leg of the ACC with the aim of creating an informed and active citizenry in governance and accountability issues and responsiveness of the government towards quality service delivery. This activity shall be held under the theme: “Citizen’s participation towards the fight against corruption, a sustainable pathway to Uganda’s transformation.”
