We bring you a story from the Northern part of Uganda on Land injustice. A community of over 2000 people has been battling with Government, Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Army over a piece of land in Apaa village, which has been their home for close to 50 decades. This land, UWA claims is a wildlife reserve and as a result, the residents here have been tortured, killed, their houses burnt to get them off the land.

For the last seven days, they have been camped at the UN offices in demand for international intervention in this matter. Here is more about the Apaa land matter in this attached newsletter
