In this issue of the Black Monday Newsletter, we argue that stopping tax theft can create a lot more revenue than new regressive taxes that will harm the poorest citizens. The government grants incentives that create loopholes that international companies take advantage of to transfer their profits to tax havens. We also show that the regressive taxes could be avoided if companies and individuals settled their tax debt.
