A cookie is a small piece of code that our sites (and some of the plug ins we use) set so that we can store some information about you to optimise your experience of using the site. We do not know who you are though - only that you are a user going through our site.
We have a cookie that tries to determine what country you are in so that we can give you the option of going to the ActionAid site in your own country when you first come to www.actionaid.org. We also use this so that when you hit the Donate menu item, so we can take you to the most appropriate donations site.
