Women from all walks of life gathered in Harare to commemorate the International Women’s Day (IWD) which is held on the 8th of March every year. On 11 March 2015, ActionAid Zimbabwe in partnership with AIDS Counselling Trust (ACT) conducted a volunteer training on the Safe Cities Campaign for Women and Girls to mark the celebrations for the day.

Masvingo Magistrate Dorothy Mwanyisa on Monday 23 January 2012 acquitted theZimbabweHuman Rights Association (ZimRights) and its senior official Joel Hita on charges of organising a photo exhibitionin Masvingo in Masvingo Province showing the 2008 election brutality. Zimrights is a partner to AAI Zimbabwe under the governance theme.
The Bulawayo Magistrates Court has dismissed the police denial of clearance of Bulawayo Agenda meetings in Tsholotsho and Lupane. Bulawayo Agenda is a strategic partner in the AAI Zimbabwe Governance Programme.
ActionAid International Zimbabwe (AAI Zimbabwe), in partnership with the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) Radio Zimbabwe station, is introducing a weekly radio programme aimed at promoting debate on issues of the poor and excluded communities in Zimbabwe. The programme will run for five weeks starting 26 October and ending 23 November 2011.
