ActionAid believes food reserves can play a vitally useful role in securing food security and helping to realise the right to food for all.That is why we are urging G20 countries to consider their positions on food reserves and calling on them to increase their support for a new generation of clearly mandated, well governed, and efficient national and regional food reserves. Where these reserves already exist, the G20 should support their maintenance and improvement.
